alert" neighborhood weather. good morning. >> good morning, guys. we do have areas of patchy fog. a little more dense along the shoreline, northwest of the city. locally, not too much going on right now. let me show you what's at the bottom of the screen. the forecast for today will actually be warmer than we thought yesterday. mainly 70s. so here is how your day breaks down. clouds developing as the day progresses. we may see one or two scattered showers. i will time that out on the hour-by-hour forecast. suburbs seeing clouds here. notice how warm it is today. temperatures will be above average for this time of the year. jersey shore right now, we're dealing with dense fog. keep that in mind, everything improving in about another two or three hours. hour-by-hour forecast, 5:30 a.m., we're seeing scattered showers passing through. we may get one or two isolated thunderstorms for parts of burkes county, otherwise scattered showers moving through.

explosion in barnegat township, ocean county. a trash can exploded along village drive there. no reported injuries and it's not clear what caused the blast. we'll continue to make phone calls and monitor the situation. stay with nbc10 and the nbc10 app for updates. new this morning, donald trump's campaign is pulling outside of virginia. it say move that stunned staff at the battleground state. the decision came from trump headquarters in new york and was announced in a conference call late yesterday. trump's campaign is now primarily focusing on four battleground states. pennsylvania, florida, north carolina and ohio. this morning, the republican president of the united statesial nominee is facing more allegations. >> yeah, more women have now stepped forward and accused trump of inappropriately touching them. nbc10's matt delucia is live for us in the digital operations center. matt, break this down for us. >> yesterday, we learned that four women who came forward claimed they were
inappropriately touched by donald trump all in different settings, years apart. trump denied ever touching anyone in an inappropriate manner. his attorney in a letter calls "the new york times" article reckless and deinflammatory and demanding an immediate apology. the "times" published an article which two women claim they were inappropriately touched by trump. one said trump kissed her on the mouth against her will. and another said she met trump 35 years ago and trump approached her and tried to put his hand up her skirt. meantime, a magazine writer said that trump forced her up against a wall and tried to put his tongue down her throat. and a woman in florida said she was groped by trump 13 years ago at trump's mar-a-largo estate. here's an excerpt from one of the accusers from "the new york times" article. >> an october okctopus.

became evangelical. and now wikileaks release and trump's campaign denies having any ties to the leak. clinton campaign last night in nevada avoided talking about the leaks and focused on the latest. and a court has decided in the cosby case that andrea constand should have testified in person. it allows her to offer second-hand testimony at pretrial hearings. cosby is set for trial in june on champs that he drugged and molested constand in 2004. he has pleaded not guilty. a home in new castle turned into a ball of fire late last evening. the delaware state fire marshal's office is trying to figure out what started the
fire. the fire started around 7:00 in the bridle shower neighborhood. the fire had destroyed everything inside. the family was abld e to get ou but their dog died. and an apartment complex on the famed jewelers row isn't sitting well with people. the project calls for six existing buildings fto be demolished. thousands of signatures have been collected against the project. yesterday, the mayor said cole brothers whats necessary permits to move forward to maintaining jewelers row. the divine lorraine hotel will grow again. philly.com reports the sign will be october 27th as part of a block party to help to benefit the big brothers and big sisters
program. 122-year-old hotel is being turned into an apartment building. this morning there is help to restore a vandalized youth football field in camden. >> police are investigating the damage as a hate crime. someone vandalized the field at the community center by using a truck to drive ruts in the mud. on tuesday night, someone spray painted an anti-semitic symbol on the fieldhouse. >> we don't know if related. we're still looking at it. >> you last big daddy lawn care drive up with his equipment to help repair the field free of charge. and now there's more help from an american legion post from hamilton. >> i'm giving you guys a chance of $1,000, okay, to help you.
>> and that's the reaction. the american legion post 186 surprised the camden raider football team which uses the field with a $1,000 donation. police say they hope surveillance video from cameras on orlando hall will help them catch the vandals. today we get a status report. mayor jackson will deliver his state of the city address at 5:30 this evening. the event is open to the public. >> announcer: now your nbc10 "first alert" weather. good morning, i'm meteorologist erika martin. your out the door forecast contains patchy fog and dense for some with showers. if you look at the bottom of your screen, will you see your local neighborhood forecast. we're seeing mainly some 50s to start the day. a few upper 40s, lehigh valley. a little chillier there. otherwise, developing clouds for today. but temperatures topping out mainly in the 70s. so a really nice day in the
forecast. yesterday, we saw low 70s as our average high temperature. today is going to be just a bit warmer. so right now, we have 45 degrees in new jersey. lehigh valley, 47 for you. and low 50s for delaware. keep in mind, we do have areas of patchy fog. it looks like it's improving certainly. just keep that in mind for the early morning hours. neighborhoods right now it looks like the lehigh valley is seeing lots of 40s. walnut, 51 degrees for you. nazareth, 51 for you. bethlehem currently upper 40s. jersey shore seeing a little bit of a southerly push here. we're seeing in the average of 40s. notice, locally, millville. seeing upper 40s. really nice day in the forecast with highs topping out in the 70s. we do have a cooler friday, however, with more sunshine. here is your patchy fog. clearing by 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. notice visibility is starting to improve overall. that's because as the sun comes

a local watchdog group is calling his comments irresponsible. the committee is a watchdog group that works to improve the process. parties are identifying poll watchers for concerns they've witnessed. they have to be certified and report any concerns they have for future review. this is something they doll ever election. >> various phases in planning is this message they're sowing seeds of anxiety and paranoia that this is not deserved. >> the local gop has already identified a member of poll watcher. they say the interest often increases during gubernatorial and presidential elections. at one polling place in montgomery county you can do more than cast your vote on november 8th. >> yeah, you can kill two birds with one stone. you can get vaccinated against the flu. part of the program called "vote and vax." in lansdale. more than 1200 voters are
registered in that district. the health department is hoping some of them will come and get vaccinated as well. the man charged with attempted murder for allegedly planning bombs in new york and new jersey last month has a court date today. ahmad rahami will be arraigned on charges. he's still in the hospital in connection with gunshot wounds suffered during his arrest. investigators say one of rahami's bomb s exploded in the chelsea neighborhood injuring hundreds of people. and later today, the abington officers will be commended. officers got into a struggle with a man at lansdale pike. a gun went off several times. no one was hit but one of the officers hurt his shoulder in the struggle. the man was arrested. the chief later credited his officers with putting their lives on the line to save the man. a group of civilians who
lended a helping hand to firefighters were honored in bucks county. one fire department handed out certificates to five men who carried hoses back in august. the group has been invited to the bensalem fire company at the yearly banquet. good morning, i'm meteorologist erika martin. we do have clouds moving west to east. green getting picked up here approaching new york state and pennsylvania. i think we'll see scattered showers in the forecast. i'll get to that in a moment. and hour by hour and make sure you look to the bottom of the screen for your local neighborhood forecast. we do see areas of patchy fog. not the case here. more so for the shoreline. current temperature 53 degrees with calm winds. current temperatures all around. a little cooler in allentown. 47 degrees for you. 45 for mt. holly. 46 for vineland.
